FANTASTIC TORQUAY 2018

The weekend of the 10th & 11th March 2018, bands from the West of England again assembled at Torquay for the West of England Regional Brass Band Championships.

For bands like ourselves, this is the major contest of the year and following weeks of dedicated practice, the band did not disappoint. Playing the Second Section test piece “Ex Terra Lucem” against 15 other bands. Cinderford having been promoted back to this section, achieved a very creditable 5th placing. We now look forward to a busy concert season and hopefully more contest success.
