Cinderford Band and the Academy Band has a busy Summer schedule and also preparing for another Autumn/Winter schedule. The following vacancies are needed for the following band/s. The band has now a new bandroom venue with great access and plenty of room for storage (Please visit our bandroom webpage for more details on the links above).
If you feel that you would like to be part of our motivated winning team, and you would like to come along and give us a try, then please contact our Musical Director Clive Lewis on 01594 843966 or email the band on the links above for more information. Anyone is welcome to come along and listen to us at our rehearsals. Applications are invited from ambitious players to become part of this successful winning team.
SENIOR BAND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCTOR NEEDED
The Cinderford Band is located in the Forest of Dean and is an
ambitious and enthusiastic 2nd Section Band, with excellent membership,
instruments and rehearsal facilities.
Following our recent success at the Weston Super Mare Contest, the band is now
looking to appoint a progressive Professional Conductor on an ‘annual contract
basis’ in order to improve playing standards and musical development for both
concerts and contests.
The successful applicant will be expected to work in conjunction with our
resident Musical Director, Mr. Clive Lewis, to deliver the band’s objectives.

SENIOR BAND
Cinderford Band being is a well established Second Section Brass Band and at present their are no vacancies available.
ACADEMY BAND
All players are welcome to the Academy Band young or older, whether you are wanting learn to play or even if you are an experienced player. It is based on having fun, meeting new people and making friends and of course learning to play an instrument. This band is a brass band, but we also tutor percussion too.
The main positions needed are:
Soprano
Cornet
Flugel
Cornet
